Through continuous development of existing shaft designs, Tidland has developed the lightest weight airshaft available. Operators find the lightweight design easier to handle, which minimizes strain and results in fewer workers comp claims! Available for 3" and 6"core sizes, the GX shaft can be built with various configurations to fit virtually any application.
Like all Tidland External Element Air Shafts, the GX shaft features a fail-safe multi circuit air system, ensuring that a loss of air in one element will not affect the expansion and performance of the other elements. In the rare case that maintenance is needed, expanding elements can be changed easily without removing the shaft from the machine.
Each shaft is built to meet the exact specifications of the environment it will be used in. Tidland engineers determine the optimum balance of strength and shaft weight for each shaft order, based upon the specific application requirements.
