Tidland's Edge-Trim has upper knives and anvil blades both mounted on a common C-frame carriage. It can be retrofitted to fit most machines and set-up time is greatly reduced or eliminated because the knife-to-anvil relationship is never disturbed during slitter repositioning. Changes can be made even with the web in motion.
The modular design of the Edge-Trim makes it very adaptable to special applications, including optional remote positioning. In addition, it features automatic blade retraction and carriage lockup for maximum operator safety.
