Camas, WA, September 1, 2001 - Tidland Corporation, an industry leader in web winding and slitting products and systems, introduces a new line of Label Press Core Holders, designed to provide Tidland quality and reliability in label press applications at a lower cost and with faster delivery than ever before.
Tidland's new line of Label Press Core Holders includes the Roll Centering Rewind Shaft, the External Element Unwind Shaft and Core Holder, and the Automatic Lug Chuck for matrix removal. Each product is designed with minimum manufacturing for reduced cost and rapid availability. Multiple mounting styles are available to fit any application.
Tidland's new Roll Centering Rewind Shaft is an economical solution for rewinding to improve roll centering, while the leaf design minimizes thin wall core deformation. The Roll Centering Rewind Shaft is available in cantilevered and drop-in shaft styles.
External Element Unwind Shafts and Core Holders are designed for close tolerance cores on unwind and for thicker walled cores on rewind applications. Standard web widths are in 1î increments from 6 -24 External Element Shafts are available as cantilevered or drop-in, and Core Holders are available in bar-mounted styles.
Tidlandís new Automatic Lug Chuck is designed for economical matrix removal for narrow webs up to 7.25 wide. The Automatic Lug Chuck is kept in stock for immediate shipment
