Tidlandís Automated Edge Trim system provides exact repositioning of knives, simultaneously and bi-directionally using touch screen controls. Increased productivity and positioning accuracy allow for exceptionally short payback periods and enhanced product quality. Required web widths can now be entered numerically away from the web, increasing operator safety.

Changes to knifeholder position as small as 1/8 to 1/16 can be made in ratio to the movement of the web, while the press is in motion, avoiding costly re-starts and wasted materials. High quality construction and a robust design ensure reliability in tough mill environments. Retrofit packages are easily installed on existing Edge Trim systems.
